Dr. Manish Pande

Dr. Manish Pande is the Director & Head of Project Analysis and Documentation Division at the Quality Council of India (QCI), an autonomous body under the Government of India. With over two decades in sustainability, he was the first Chair of the NPIC Network of the UNFSS. He holds a Doctorate from the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, including work with UNCTAD. Before joining QCI in 2012, he headed Government and Forestry Services at SGS India Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Pande leads key initiatives at QCI, including frameworks for UAS (Drones), Medicinal Plants, Forest Certification, Cyber Security, and Yoga Certification. He also serves on various technical committees for government schemes.

Dr. Anupam Srivastava, Professor and Head of RasShastra & Bhaishjya Kalpana at the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), has over 29 years of experience in Ayurveda. His expertise spans policy planning, public health, and Ayurvedic drug research, with a focus on standardization and regulation. He has held key roles such as former Director of the National Academy of Ayurveda (RAV) and CEO of the Ayurveda Training and Accreditation Board (ATAB). Actively involved in international collaborations, he has represented the Ministry of AYUSH globally. Dr. Srivastava has published over 30 research papers and significantly contributed to developing regulatory frameworks for ASU drugs.

He actively collaborates with industry associations like FICCI, CII, and BIS to address policy challenges. Before Dabur, he managed regulatory affairs at Ranbaxy Global Consumer Healthcare for brands like Revital. Ashish holds degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Law (LLB), and a master’s in management.

Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Manoj Nesari

Professor (Dr.) Tanuja Manoj Nesari, Director of the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, holds a position equivalent to Special Secretary, Govt. of India. She chairs the Integrated Accreditation Standards for AYUSH and the NABH AYUSH Assessor Committee. Previously, she served as CEO of the National Medicinal Plant Board and held key roles at Delhi University and Tilak Ayurvedic College, Pune. Currently, she represents the Ministry of AYUSH on several national and international platforms, including WHO and NITI Aayog. With over 30 years of teaching and research experience, she has supervised 95 postgraduate and Ph.D. scholars, led 30+ clinical research projects, published 200+ articles, and authored 20 books. She was recently awarded the “Ayurveda Ratna” by ITS - APPG, UK.

Anil Kumar P. is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the seafood sector. In the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), he currently holds the position of Joint Director (Marketing), coordinating export promotion activities and functions as the Treasurer of NETFISH, a society of MPEDA focused on post-harvest handling and sustainability in Marine capture fisheries. His responsibilities include promoting the export of value-added products, addressing market access issues, conducting international seafood shows, webinars, and organizing Business Meets. Previously, he coordinated export-oriented aquaculture promotional activities and led a team managing multiple export promotion and development activities of MPEDA. He has lived in India, Malaysia, Madagascar, and Thailand, and visited numerous countries for professional purposes.

Dr. Ram Mohan M. K., an alumnus of the the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institutes & the Central Institute of Fisheries Education in India, has 30 years of experience in seafood and aquaculture sector. As the Joint Director of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, he coordinates MPEDA’s Quality Assurance activities across India and manages a 100+ member team that handles Quality Assurance system of MPEDA, which includes a network of 5 Quality Control and 14 ELISA labs in coastal states of India. During the past 21 years of his service in MPEDA, he has served in various capacities, on activities associated to seafood market promotion & market policy, infrastructure development and Capture fisheries, besides the Resident Director of MPEDA at its Trade Promotion Office in Tokyo, Japan during 2013 to 2016.

National Biodiversity Expert

Seema is a graduate from the Yale School of Environment. Since her graduation, she has worked on issues related to ecotourism, biodiversity and climate change. She was part of the Technical and Policy Core Group that produced the final technical report for India’s National Biodiversity Strategy Action Plan for the Government of India. Seema is also a Fulbright Scholar. Seema is at present with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations as the National Biodiversity Expert and has been involved in the developing of project proposals for Global Environment Facility (GEF) in the FAO country office.

Manish Kumar Meel

Manish Meel is a Food Safety Specialist with The Acheson Group. He holds a Master of Technology degree in Food Supply Chain Management from the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management- Kundli. Manish has extensively worked on data analysis, exploring India's food import refusals by the United States over the past ten years as part of an industry research project. One of the key roles for Manish is staying up to date with FDA regulations and helping seafood exporters prepare for new or updated food regulations in importing countries such as the FSMA food traceability rule. Manish supports seafood producers by conducting HACCP food safety training for the food safety teams at seafood facilities, along with on-the-floor GMP training for production staff. Manish is qualified with credentials including BRCGS Internal Auditor, PCQI for Human Foods, and Seafood HACCP certification.
